Shipping

Based on your order, our Customer Service team will recommend the best shipping method to ensure the most efficient transit times and freight costs. All products are sold FOB Merrillville, IN 46410.

FREIGHT GUIDE

We have negotiated with many truck lines to different parts of the country. Please call to get the lowest rate. If for some reason you are not satisfied with the service of a particular carrier, please let us know. When possible, we will schedule a different carrier for your next order.


INSIDE DELIVERY

Please let our Customer Service team know if you require liftgate delivery service or inside delivery so we can note your account accordingly.


DELAYS

Albanese Confectionery is not liable for delay of shipment due to natural disasters, shipping carrier delays that are caused by weather, labor disputes, refusal of package, and customer supplied incorrect shipping information.


WEATHER

Albanese Confectionery is not responsible for melted products, but ensuring that you receive your order in excellent condition is our top priority. Albanese chocolates have the potential to melt at 70 degrees Fahrenheit and our gummies have the potential to melt at 90 degrees Fahrenheit, so our product may require special handling when the weather is warm where your order is being shipped.


On FOB Warehouse orders, to assure that your products arrive without melting, shipments may require expedited delivery, when requested, or a delay in shipping, depending upon how many days your package will be in transit


We provide shipping materials when transporting products to warmer climates to ensure your products arrive in the best condition. Reasonably priced refrigerated carriers are also available. Please call for specific charges to your area.


Issues On Orders

Check your order after you receive it to double check that all your products are there. We do our best to accurately pick your order, but in the event that we make a mistake, and if for some reason you are not satisfied, please notify us within 10 business days after receipt. Our Claims Department will provide a resolution for you.


Refused Orders

Purchaser will be liable for a 20 percent restocking fee and the original shipping charge. If product is lost in returning to our company, purchaser is responsible for the full charge.


Sales Tax

Sales tax is not charged on re-selling businesses, if you provide us your state issued Tax ID number. For businesses located in Indiana, we will also need the state ST105 form completed and on file.
